Sorry its been so long.  I was so busy because I  was planning my husbands 50th Surprise party.  The night was so much fun.  He was so surprised.  We had a great time.  I wanted to share the invites I made as well as the party favors. Let me know what you think.

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter and Passover.  This picture is from my Blog Candy Winner.  When anyone wins blog candy from my site I will feature you and one of your designs on my blog.  Here is Cheryl Delsanter’s Design.

Baby Chick Treat cards I gave to my students at school for Easter.  I’m a noon aide for 58 third graders, so I had to pick something cute and easy to put together.  
 
On the Baby Chicks I used:
Yo Yo Yellow Paper from Stampin Up
Only Orange Paper from Stampin Up
The Top Note Die for head (folded in half) cut from yellow
Scalloped Circle Punch (for wings and feet) cut in half from yellow
Punch circles for eyes from white and black paper
Cut a yellow rectangle for the body and rounded the corners
Punched a orange scalloped circle and cut out the feet and cut a diamond for beak (fold in half)
I Filled a small reclosable bag with pastel M&M’s and attached under head with sticky strip tape

Well I had to share with you my new addition to my scrapbook room.  Its the Cricut Expression.  I am still trying to figure out how to use it, and all that it can do.  But It’s truly amazing.  I did a few things with it today. I will share one of the projects tomorrow when I finish it.  I am glad that I invested in this.  I know I will get tons of use out of it.

Well I finally made one of those display plates that everyone was making.  I came out great..I used a lot of supplies that I already had. I bought the plate from the 1.00 store.  I love it. I made one for my friend too.  I hope she does not read my blog until I give her this gift. Let me know what you think.

I finally after months started doing some of my projects that I have been wanting to do for awhile.  This one was created by Tracy Harp and when I saw it I knew it was a project I wanted to try.  Well I did it and it really came out cute.  I will also be selling the kit for this project.. Because I am so happy about it I have decided to also offer some Blog Candy this week.  I will pick the winner on Friday.  The candy is a scrapbook ornament that you can view in my store. Today I made a simple card easy for you to copy.  I used the pocket Silhouettes  stamp set # 111672 & the stamp set called Heard from the heart # 111644 along with my  1 1/4  sq punch#104400 and  Scallop sq punch# 112081 ..
I used Pretty in pink #100459, Regal rose# 105130  and  Close to cocoa #101341 card stock and regal rose  GG ribbon  which is retired .  I hope you like it. 

FAUX QUILT CARD

Today I had fun making this special card for my friend.  Its a Faux Card and was so easy to make.
I used the following supplies to make this card. Stamping up Designer paper Urban Garden, Baja Breeze paper, whisper White.  I used the Square punches 1 1/4 and 1 3/8.  My Big Shot top note Die.The stamp set Best Yet.
I punched out 12 squares of the designer paper and adhered them to a piece of paper that was cut.  using my big shot I cut the die cut after my squares were on.  Then I used a marker to make little x’s so it gave it the stitch look. Stamped my saying and used pop up dots to adhere it down.  That was it..Try it.  If you need to order anything for the month of April email me for the special that I am offering.     
The card base is 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 the layer cut at 4 x 5

I know you must be wondering where I have been. I have been so busy with something I can’t share right now,  But will be sharing with you in a few weeks.  It’s a main event for me and I have been working so hard at it. In the mean time I have had my daughters birthday and  my birthday, We always make our birthdays special.  I also have been loving facebook.  It has allowed me to re-connect with so many of my old friends and I am thrilled to have them all back in my life again. Some of them I have not spoke to in over 35 years, It really feels like we have never lost contact.

Tonight I made this card.  It is from one of my favorite sets. Its called Branch Out  #113200, I  used Close to Cocoa paper and ink, along with Chocolate Chip paper, and old olive ink and ribbon.  I used any kind of greeting stamp to stamp.  I hope you like it.  If you do not have this stamp set.  You can purchase in my store 5 cards that come already pre cut and stamped for you……… Also check out my store as I added a lot of new items.  Hope everyone has a great Friday.

I am so sorry I have not wrote on my blog for awhile.  I have been so busy between work, kids, flu hitting the house. I had so much fun making this, and I LOVE the way it came out..  Thank you Lisa Johnson for showing this on your blog.  I make so many cards and never really send them out cause I miss everyone’s birthday all the time. So I needed something to put on my desk to remind me monthly.  My birthday calendar is the perfect thing.  I used coasters and DP from Stampin’ Up.  I inked the edges, and embellished all the months. I really love it!!  I sell the kit in my store if you do not have the time to make it.
